1. Not cleaning for a long time

The metal filings are easily mixed into the shredder main shaft flange and spacer, causing the knives to bite unevenly, resulting in material jams and knife edges. Wear and even chipping, deformation and other problems, once these fine materials are mixed into the bearing ring, they will also cause certain damage to the normal operation and quality of the bearing. Therefore, regular cleaning and maintenance is very important to ensure that the inside of the shredder is clean.

2. Unqualified materials

The cutter of the scrap metal shredder is a key component. When processing large pieces of metal materials or materials with higher hardness, the cutter can easily cause chipping or damage. Therefore, when selecting materials, avoid metal with too high hardness from entering the shredder to prevent damage to the shredder.

3. Spindle flange is loose

After the shredder has been working for a long time, material clamping may occur. We need to check whether the gap between the cutter flange of the shredder is enlarged, the main shaft is deformed, and other issues.
